DIANA RADAKOVIC, DNP
ADVANCED PRACTICE PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER | DOCTORATE IN NURSING PRACTICE
Diana Radakovic has her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Brandman University, a Masters Degree from California State University Long Beach, and has and Adult Education Teaching Credential and a former CPR Instructor through the American Red Cross.
As a Doctor of Nursing Practice with over 25 years of psychiatric experience, Diana has both experience in medical clinical settings as well as psychiatric settings. Her unique professional journey began working in medical-surgical rotations before she specialized in Psychiatry, even working in correctional services and in medical and psychiatric emergency room settings. She continues to be a mentor and preceptor to other Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners students and works well with a team approach.
Beyond her clinical experience, Diana has also works in Addiction Medicine within substance treatment facilities for detox and outpatient services. She understands the full spectrum of the healing journey—from the clinical complexities of detox to the long-term work of emotional resilience and the need for support every step pf the way. Diana is known for combining her deep medical knowledge with a warm, intuitive approach that makes her patients feel instantly seen and understood. She doesn't just manage symptoms; she serves as a dedicated advocate for her patients, empowering them with the tools and education necessary to achieve sustainable wellness.
Diana also possesses the specialized skill set required to navigate the sensitive neurodevelopmental needs of children and adolescents, the high-pressure mental health challenges of adults, and the complex geriatric care required for seniors. Whether she is working with a child struggling with ADHD, an adult navigating trauma, or a senior dealing with cognitive health, Her practice is built on the belief that every individual, regardless of their age or history, deserves a practitioner who is as invested in their success as they are.
Diana is also fluent in Spanish and looks forward to help with psychiatric services without a language barrier.
In her spare time, Diana loves to workout at the gym with free weights, do dance class and kickboxing, hiking, and reading.
